Here are a few things to keep in mind as you plan your first visit...
Directions
Whether you live in Greenwood, Greencastle, Indianapolis, Southport, Homecroft, or the surrounding areas our church is easy to find Click here for directions that are made available on our website.
Knowing Where To Go
One you arrive we will have greeters ready to show you where to go. They will be available to help assist you to the appropriate nursery, kid's class, or service. Our ushers will be a help to you.
Pre-Service Planning
You should probably plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before service begins to get acquainted with our facility. Our Sunday School classes even have breakfast and snacks for your enjoyment. At every service there are safe and clean nurseries for your children. All of our children’s workers have been trained and qualified for their ministry to your family.
What To Expect
First, expect a grace-centered environment. You don't have to have it "all together" in order to fit in. LBC is filled with regular, every day people who have struggles and questions about life. You don't have to worry about being different or being evaluated by others. We are a diverse group of people with commonality in Jesus Christ.
Second, expect a gospel-focused environment. Our ministry is not defined by pointless tradition or preferential issues. Our focus is the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it changes lives in this culture.
Third, expect a Christ-honoring environment. The audience of worship is Jesus Christ not man. At Liberty, our services are filled with meaningful worship. Our music is inspirational and enjoyable, and the Bible messages are simple, scriptural, and straightforward.
Sunday Services
Sunday School for all ages, begins at 9:45am Our morning worship service begins at 11am.
Our 6pm service is an entirely different service from our morning worship. Pastor Graham delivers a different Bible message in the evening service. Pastor often calls it “family time.” The 6pm service is our weekly opportunity to assemble as an entire church family. Members are expected to come; visitors are absolutely welcome!
The Wednesday Prayer Meeting
The Wednesday Prayer Meeting is a mid-week service designed to equip believers with teachings of prayer and to spend time passionately seeking the face of God on behalf of the needs in our lives. This is a VERY important service in the life of LBC. We encourage you to attend this time of prayer with us!
If there’s something we missed, please call us. We want your first visit to Liberty Baptist Church to be a tremendous experience. It is our desire to serve you and your family. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
